About Megan Chirichella, FNP
Megan Chirichella is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner at Prima Medicine. She has diverse clinical experience and a dedication to providing excellent patient care. Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University. Her professional foundation is built upon her experience as a critical care nurse in post anesthesia and intensive care units, working with medical and surgical patients. Prior to joining Prima Medicine, she worked at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in the intensive care unit and served as a resource and code response nurse for the hospital. She is passionate about providing holistic care while supporting her patients on their health journey. Megan practices primary care at Prima Medicine, and is accepting new patients.
In her prior position as a Medical Intensive Care Nurse at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Megan provided comprehensive care to critically ill patients and was a code response nurse hospital-wide. She demonstrated leadership as a charge nurse, mentoring new nurses, and managing unit operations. Prior to that, Megan excelled as a Post Anesthesia Care Nurse, ensuring patient stability post-surgery and cross-training across multiple levels of care.
